Your Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to Your Zodiac Sign
The return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement across the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the game's launch, to players developing strong opinions on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.
With many of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.
Aries – Super Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes the Ram much more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Remain on the good side of both and benefit from a strong ally; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Similar to a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the creature and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Many past official descriptions mention their craving for sweet sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Taurus energy.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which sounds very similar to a socially-savvy Twins.
The Crab – Super Manectric
The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. Per the official info, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer crash-out. It is also recognized for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.
Leo – Super Starmie
Well, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Fans were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.
Virgo – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually surprised face like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a plan.
The Scales – Mega Audino
Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Scales who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to worry more about others.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through sheer resentment and swore revenge on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Detached air sign Aquarius is possibly the non-flame placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Aquarius being chaotic accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall daunting presence is also very Water Bearer. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
